Recipe: Shilpa Shetty Kundra Oil Free Fish Curry

“This recipe has many advantages. It's oil free, protein rich, healthy and is yummy," says Shilpa Shetty Kundra on her personal YouTube channel.

Grated coconut, 4-6 onion shallots, 5-6 black pepper, 3/4th tablespoon of chili powder, 1/4th tablespoon of turmeric powder

​Step 1

Take all the spices in a mixer jar and make a coarse paste.

​Step 2

Switch on the gas flame, add the coconut paste to the pan.

Step 3

​Add green chillies as per your taste. Slit the chillies so that the aroma and the taste of the chilly infuses in the gravy properly.

​Step 4

Add 5-6 curry leaves to this mixture and cook it properly

Once the gravy starts boiling, add the fish pieces. Add tamarind paste, kokum pieces and a bit of jaggery.

Shilpa has used rava fish in the recipe. Rava is a great source of omega 3 fatty acid, protein, vitamin A, D and B.

Excluding the pre-cooking time, it takes 7 to 8 minutes for this fish recipe to cook.
