Love Biryani? Try This Recipe At Home

Of course, everybody loves biryani.

You might think making biryani at home is difficult and you’re right. But, we’ll try and make it easy for you.

Here’s a recipe of Mughlai biryani.

INGREDIENTS

Rice, chicken, curd, garam masala, cardamom, bay leaf, butter, cinnamon, cumin, mace, bay leaf.

Soak washed rice for 30 minutes. Parboil it.

Marinate the chicken with some curd, coriander powder, salt and garam masala, haldi and tandoori masala in a bowl. Let it rest for 30 minutes.

Heat some butter in a pan. Add bay leaves, cumin seeds, chopped onions, tomatoes, ginger-garlic and chilli paste.

Add some cashew paste and cook till the oil separates.

Add all the spices as per your taste.

Add the marinated chicken and cook it well.

Once the chicken is done, seperate some of the cooked chicken in a bowl. Now, add a layer of rice in the pan.

Layer the rice with some cooked chicken and repeat the step.

Add some fried onions, mint, coriander leaves, raisins and kesar milk to the top layer and cover the lid.

Let it cook for a few minutes.

Voila! Your biryani is ready!
